I can't believe my baby turned 2 today!! Happy Birthday, sweet boy. You have given your Daddy and me so many precious memories and have filled our lives with such joy. We love you!

Ethan's Surgery

Ethan had tubes placed in his ears today and his adenoids removed. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things-but it was still pretty scary for all of us. The hardest part was that he couldn't eat or drink after midnight last night and his procedure was at 10:30 this morning. It only took about 20 minutes once they took him from us. He was still asleep when we got to go and see him in the recovery room-but once he woke up, he was in a nasty mood! Cried a lot, tried biting us, hitting us, etc. He was very disoriented-poor baby. He even ripped out his IV!! Once we got home we fed him lots of ice cream and he slept for a long time. He is almost back to normal already! :)

We took Ethan to College Station about a month ago to run around campus. It rained ALL day so we weren't able to do much. We did stop and get him a new Aggie souvenier shirt though!

Stitches and Stuff...

The past week has been pretty rough on our little family. Ethan fell at school and busted his chin last Thursday-resulting in stitches. That was traumatic enough, but the days following that whole debacle included 4 more trips to the doctor, an ear infection (scheduling tubes in March by the way), and a super horrible and dangerous eye infection. Good times!

We just want our healthy baby back! I am praying he gets better soon.

Here are some pics of his stitches-not great but they are at the bottom of his chin so it was hard to get a good picture. We got them taken out today so I'm glad I snapped these pictures a few days ago. I'm sure when he's older he will like to see what his first big boy boo boo looked like.
