Lately....

Things are trucking right along. I can't believe it will be October in just a few days! Our newest niece, Jamey Marie Gobar, was born on September 18th. Ethan was very intrigued by her-kept pointing to her and saying, "Baby"-pretty cute!

We've been taking E to the park a lot on the weekends to feed the duckies and to play on the playground. He gets restless around the house so that seems to keep him occupied and also wears him out so he takes a great nap too!

18 Months!

I can't believe my "baby" is already a year and a half. Things are going well-slowly getting into a routine again now that school has started. Ethan is at a new school (Imagination Campus) and we LOVE it! He is learning so much and getting so much out of it. He gets to have art and music every day, plus time in the gym too. He is having an easier time saying "bye-bye" to Mommy when I drop him off now.

He is using a lot more words to communicate to us and he can locate different parts of his face and body when asked. He also knows several colors-blue, yellow, green, and red. He is at such a fun age!!!

Here are some recent pics. We let Ethan and his cousin, Ava, roam free in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard last weekend-they loved it!

Jake and I took Ethan to the Children's Museum on Friday. He had a BLAST! It was so fun to watch him run around having a great time. Too bad summer is almost over!!! :(

Girls' Weekend!

I went with my girls to Denver a few weekends ago to visit our friend, Page. We had such a great time-Page was the best hostess! It was so nice to be baby-free and be waited on ! No cooking, cleaning, diaper changes, etc.

We had a great time-a picnic lunch and hiking in the mountains (fun, despite my altitude-sickness), a tour of the Coors Factory, and lots of fun going out to eat and lounging around.
Thanks for having us, Page! And thanks to my wonderful hubby for letting me go and staying with Ethan.

Such a Big Boy!

Wow, Ethan is growing so fast and learning so many things! I am so sad that summer is almost over-I have really enjoyed getting to hang out with him everyday.

New words this month: night-night, Ernie (he loves Sesame Street), hug, apple, blue, and yellow!

Ethan came with me to start setting up my classroom. I wasn't anticipating getting much done, but he did so good! He played with Mommy's math manipulatives, got on the computer, and played under the desks. I was able to get a lot done today!

Storytime and Fire Trucks!

I went with my friend Kelly to toddler time at the library today. It was so much fun-definitely going to keep that up while it's still summer. Then we went next door to the fire station to see the trucks. The firemen were out on a call but they let the boys ring the bell-so cute!
