Valentine's Day!

We had a great Valentine's Day Weekend. Our friends Page and Reagan were in town and stayed with us. We went to dinner Friday night and hung out the rest of the weekend.

Jake surprised me Sunday morning with roses, a card, and my favorite Starbucks. What a great hubby! :)

Ethan got into the chocolates - oops! I wanted to take a few pics of him with the box but he figured out how to open them and before I could stop him, he had already stuffed a bunch in his mouth!

January Update

Well, Mommy's back to work after the wonderful, long Christmas break. It was tough the first few days back because I missed my Little Man so much. Now we're back into the routine though.
We signed Ethan up for classes at The Little Gym. We took him for his first of 20 classes last Saturday - it was so much fun and Ethan loved it!! The babies got to play with balls, bubbles, bells, sing songs, practice walking and jumping, and explore all the cool gymnastics equipment. I totally forgot to bring my camera...so bummed! But I will definitely bring it with me this weekend so I can post some cute pics.

Hello all. Mommy and Daddy say that it's my turn to update the blog. Let's see.....I had my first Christmas and it was so fun! I wasn't quite sure how to open the presents but I love playing with all my new toys! I got to spend time with Nonnie and Pop and Uncle Andy. I also got to spend time with my Grandma and Grandpa, my counsins Casey and Ava, and my Uncle Seth and Uncle Matt.

In other news, I am 9 1/2 months old. I have 2 bottom teeth and I love to crawl all around the house. I am close to walking; I love to stand while holding on to the furniture. I can wave and dance when Mommy and Daddy ask me to - they think it's so cute! I went to see the doctor for my 9 month check-up the other day. No shots this time - yay! She said I am a very healthy boy. I am 19.5 pounds (30th percentile) and 29 inches long (75 percentile). I am looking forward to my first birthday in March - maybe I will be able to open presents by then.

Christmas 2009

Denver Trip

A few weeks ago, Jake and I took a little weekend trip to Denver to visit our friends Page and Reagan. The day we left was the big Snow Day in Houston so we were a little disappointed that we missed it, but luckily we got plenty while we were there! We ended up not taking Ethan (the thought of schlepping the stroller, car seat, bottles, diapers, etc...) made me nauseous, so he stayed with Jake's parents for the weekend. I think it was a good idea because it was SO COLD and the altitude was even getting to me and Jake so we can't imagine how Ethan would have done.

We had a great time! The boys went skiing in Breckenridge while Page and I hit up the outlet malls to do a little Christmas shopping. Here are a few pics from our trip:
